TF: Revenge Of The Fallen DVD with Exclusive Black Optimus Prime Review

This is the IMAX version of the movie. This is similar to the Batman 'Dark Knight' blu-ray where the IMax scenes are shown bigger than the rest of the movie. Bare in mind the whole movie is not like this, it is standard size 16:9 except for the fight scene's in the middle and end of the movie. But, on both dvd and blu-ray. This version also boasts a slightly different cover. The cardboard slipcover is totally different, the inside cover is very similar except it has Bumble-Bee instead of Megatron.

The movie itself kick's ass if you're into giant robot's duking it out over control of the Earth (and Universe!). Don't expect much in the way of plot, but you've read all that in the other reviews. I would recommend this if want to see Transformers 2 IMax version, plus it contains a few extra seconds of bonus scenes during the fight scene's. I couldn't tell you exactly what or where (I saw this in IMax at the theaters, then bought this version upon release). If you live in the U.S., pick this up at your local Wal-Mart, or ask a buddy stateside to pick one up for you. If you got a blu-ray player, even better!!!

Next to "Rugrats," this has to be one of the most amazing cartoons ever produced. Believe me, it is genuinely a shame that few people may remember this series or that no series like this are in production anymore, and the reason for Angela Anaconda's charm is simple, and plain: it revolves around ordinary, laughable characters and the creators know perfectly well how to create a fantastical cartoon for children. This is a program that both girls and boys alike will definitely enjoy if they gave it a try, and I plead with you to buy this. This isn't a prissy, pink fashion cartoon about perfect, pretty popular valley girls who always get things to go their way in the end. No. This is not an animated series about girl power. More like tomboy power, which is what makes a fantastic cartoon in my book!

I have always loved this work and have several CD versions of it. This DVD gave me goose bumps when I first played it. It is gloriously filmed and beautifully sung. The orchestra is also great. Sound and image clarity are both superb. You can feel the pain and passion in the words and music. The singers'voices blend very well. The Church is beautiful and we get to feel that we are there as the cameramen skilfully "show us the sights", the gorgeous artwork. The only negative is that the musical content is a bit short, at about 48 minutes. A "filler" piece to make the concert longer would have been nice.

The Blu-Ray of this movie is awesome, they have fixed the mistakes of the orginal DVD version, and should be rated overall five stars, the problem, Amazon, has mixed the reviews from the old dvd with the blu ray, skewing the star results and reviews, Amazon, needs to keep the review for DVDs and Blu rays seperate, even if its the same movie the format is different an offers different things, and I would like to see reviews for the blu ray not the old dvd.
