I have seen all of Greg Araki's movie from "The Living End", "Totally F**cked Up", "The Doom Generation", "Nowhere", and the newly released "Splenor" and "Nowhere" is the best of all!! It is the brat pack movie for the 90's. Besides "Clueless" this should be the most famous teen movie this decade. From the all star, stellar cast, to the music, to the outrageous sets and costumes. This movie has something for everyone, and the audience can relate to at least one of the characters, because not only are they loveable but they are, in a sense, real teenagers. When I first saw the film, though, I wasn't sure what to make of the fast paced, foul mouthed storyline, but the more I watch it, the more I understand and LOVE it! There are so many symbols and images beginning with each characters names such as the lead character Dark, that it makes you sit and wonder. Also I truly appreciate how every frame in that film looks like the director took a lot of time, thought, and effort into making it just right, so no time is waisted. Trust me, if you're not offended by teens telling it like it is then buy it. The cast alone is worth it.
